Mayaland Hotel and Bungalows was the first hotel constructed by the spectacular ruins of Chichen Itza in Yucatan. It was designed by Sylvanus G. Morley, the Carnegie expedition leader who rebuilt Chichen Itza. The hotel has a building with rooms and suites as well as 50 bungalows built in a rustic Mayan style. These bungalows are spread throughout 40 hectares of tropical vegetation and gardens. Enjoy traditional Yucatecan hospitality and the ancestral charm of the hotel, which is a legacy of the original owners, who built the property in the 1920s.
